Modules list

Each of Avalon’s meta-armours is a unique, customisable mechanism. The nine meta-armour designs are standard models, particularly when it comes to their special abilities. They each serve as a foundation, however, on which their Knight can build by adding equipment commonly called ‘modules.’ These modules add to the armour’s capabilities, gradually filling its available space, its ‘slots.’ Slot space is limited, with a certain number on the armour’s torso, head, legs, and arms. Each armour design has a different number of slots.

Modules are not described in full detail. Most of them will have several suggested appearances fitting their purpose. Players are free to choose whichever one they prefer, however. Their choice is purely aesthetic, but helps give a more precise idea of the armour’s appearance. Modules are an integral part of an armour. They cannot be used unless the armour is completely unfolded.

Some of them can be upgraded, with a level mostly ranging from 1 to 3. Level 2 or 3 of a module can only be purchased if the previous levels are already owned. Each additional level has its own cost, listed in the module’s description.

Each module has a GP cost, listed next to its name. All relevant effects are detailed below.

Modules are sorted into the following categories: movement, close combat, ranged, sight, defensive, tactical, utility, enhancement, automated weapon, and overdrives.
