Finecrafted
Described in: Core book
Description
When this weapon is used, its wielder adds their Dexterity characteristic (+1 point for each overdrive) to their damage, in addition to any existing modifiers. NPCs instead add half their Mask (rounded up) to their damage (as well as any exceptional Mask aspect score they may have) to their damage.
Example: Mike’s character hits an enemy with a stiletto. He rolls the weapon’s 3D6, for a total of 10. He should only add his character’s Strength score of 4 to determine damage dealt. Thanks to the stiletto’s finecrafted effect, however, he also adds his character’s Dexterity score of 5, plus 2 overdrives. The total damage inflicted is 21 (10 on the dice, + 4 Strength, + 5 Dexterity, + 2 from the Dexterity overdrives).
