Tortured in the Dark

Abducted by creatures of the darkness and held for months or years, the character was tortured, humiliated, degraded, and debased by their captors. Against all odds, thanks to their iron will or brute strength, they made it out alive. Their memories of that time are hazy at best, but one thing rings loud and clear through the healing mists of time: screams. Those of their monstrous captors... and their own.
