Safe shot
Described in: Core book
Description
By using a weapon-mounted camera or a modified barrel, this weapon’s wielder may fire without incurring any penalties due to hiding behind cover.
Example: Mike’s character is hiding in a bunker, gaining defensive bonuses against incoming fire. He decides to shoot through a firing port with his anti-materiel rifle. Cover bonuses usually inflict a 3-die penalty on all attacks. Thanks to the rifle’s safe shot effect, Mike’s character may fire without suffering this penalty.
