Description
Wielding a weapon with this effect requires one (and only one) move action as well as one (and only one) combat action. Additional actions are untouched by this effect.
Example: Mike’s character, wielding a magnetic mace, has just moved into contact range to attack their target. Since the weapon has the heavy effect, Mike’s character will have to wait until their next turn before they can attack with it.
Bound weapons
Accelerator modules provide their user with an additional move action first, then with an additional combat action. Can both these actions be used to fire a weapon with the heavy effect? – pages 416 and 439
